•    How are Buddhist amulets made?

Buddhist amulets are made with an image of Buddha or a well-known monk. This also includes the Low lptohrian amulets. The material used is usually plaster, bone, wood, or metal. Different amulets may vary in size, materials, and shape. Once these amulets are made, they are then taken to be blessed by monks. Monks from the temple or other temples join each other to pray, chant, and bless the amulets. This may take from a few weeks to more than three years. A newly made amulet in its plastic encasing protects the image of the amulets and enhances the appearance as well.
