Anyone else dealing with Facing Global Resolution Center Debt Collection Harassment?
A few months back I started getting calls from a debt collector I had never heard of. They said I owed money from an old account and needed to pay that same day. I told them I wanted proof in writing first and the guy on the phone got loud with me and said I was running out of time.
Since then they have called from at least three different numbers. Sometimes twice in one morning. They even called my sister and left a message mentioning my name, which I thought was not allowed. I never got any letter in the mail about this debt either.
I am not trying to dodge something I actually owe, but I am not paying a stranger who will not even tell me who the original creditor is. Has anyone else been through this with them? What finally made them stop calling you?
